What is a Havanese

A Havanese is a fantastic Velcro dog from Havana, Cuba. This little miracle is hypoallergenic and non-shedding… ranges from 5-12 lbs. As they grow in popularity you will tend to see more and more of them. Havanese are bred solely for companionship and make the ultimate house pet. I have found that in most cases a male will curl up in your lap while a female will sent next to you or by your feet. Either way this little dog wants to be the center of your world. They will pick a person as the #1 person. So if you want your Havanese to follow you from room to room.. just make sure you are the one that feeds, walks and takes him/her out. Give plenty of treats or praises. Just depends on the dogs preferences. If you get a Havanese, chances are you will want another.
