The Amazing Cavapoo

Cavapoos are a wonderful cross between a Cavalier King Charles and a Toy or miniature Poodle. Of course if you are breeding for a smaller companion, a Toy Poodle will be your best choice or a Cavapoo Poodle cross is also significantly smaller. They are amazing, cuddly, highly intelligent and adaptable companions. The weight range is broad and depends on the size of the dam and sire.

Our Cavapoo puppies generally range from 5 lbs - 20 lbs. These fantastic fur babies will have low to non-shedding hypoallergenic coats. This is great for asthma and allergy sufferers.

Cavapoos love to socialize! They are soft spoken in general. Your Cavapoo will look forward to interacting with people. They do well for apartment dwellers and love to bounce and play in wide open spaces.

The coat requires grooming on a monthly basis. Some prefer weekly or bi•weekly. Hair can be straight, wavy or curly. This will depend on genetics and depending on how much of the Cavalier or poodle gender are picked up.

I’ve seen many varieties of color in this breed. We typically have red, apricot, black, phantom and Merle. However, we are planning future litters of chocolate Cavapoos with tan to red points and also chocolate Merle. Very exciting!!

As most designers breeds, Cavapoos are considered a hearty, healthy breed.

Give your Cavapoo plenty of time with human companionship, and they will thrive with lots of interaction.

Breaking down the 2 breeds.. Cavalier King Charles is sweet, gentle and affectionate. They are very eager to please.

Much like a Havanese, toy and miniature Poodles are energetic, highly intelligent and more independent. Blending these 2 personalities together makes, in our humble opinion, the best all around pet!
